The Campus Observatory

The new Olin Physical Sciences building features a large dome which will house a 0.8-m (32-in) telescope. The telescope is funded by the National Science Foundation, Florida Tech, and a local anymous donor, and is currently on order from DFM Engineering. In addition, the building features a large observing deck on the roof, which support 15 eight-inch computer controlled telescopes for use by our students and faculty. We now have Astronomy & Astrophysics Lecture Series. Viewing sessions follow the lectures, weather permitting. Follow the link above for more on the lecture series, and the schedule of talks!
